Something rises in the Frostfield.

Every 90 minutes a world boss rises in the Frostfield Arena, south of the village across the causeway from the south gate. Same dodgeable red telegraphs as the Delve bosses. It scales with how many players show up, and every participant gets an Epic+ reward cache.

Is Northforge free to play?

Yes. Northforge is a free, non-commercial hobby server. Nothing is sold: no ranks, no perks, no loot boxes. Every item is earned in the world.

Which Minecraft versions can join?

Java Edition 1.21.x (older clients are supported through ViaVersion) and Bedrock Edition through Geyser on port 19132. Both editions share one world and one progression.

Do I need mods or a modpack?

No. Join with the vanilla client. Java players accept the Northforge resource pack on first join so custom loot, loot beams and gear silhouettes render correctly.

What are Delves?

Delves are instanced dungeons for your group: six of them, from Frostfang Burrow (Lv 1+) to Wyrmhold Citadel (Lv 30+). Enter through the six portal frames in the Portal Temple of the spawn village, or with /delve. Each run has a wave chamber, a trap gauntlet, an elite chamber and a boss arena, on Normal, Heroic or Mythic.

How does the loot work?

Every drop rolls a rarity from Common to Mythic, random affixes such as Crit Chance, Lifesteal or Boss Damage, and a roll quality. Keep the best rolls, salvage the rest and upgrade your gear at the Forge.

Can I play solo?

Yes. Normal Delves can be run solo with unlimited deaths, and /start opens your first Frostfang Delve right away. Up to 5 players at the gate join the same private instance.

How do Xbox, PlayStation or Switch players join?

Consoles hide custom servers, so use a connector such as BedrockConnect, then enter playnorthforge.com with port 19132.
